Watch Conor McGregor giggle his way through a ride in Dana White?s Ferrari

Conor McGregor knocked out Marcus Brimage in his UFC debut. For his next trick, the Irish fighter rode around with UFC president Dana White in his Ferrari. Since they're driving on the Strip in Las Vegas, it's a bit too crowded for White to get the car going too fast, but McGregor's giggles from being in the car are too fantastic to miss. According to a tweet by White, they were celebrating McGregor's birthday.

It's not all fun and games for McGregor right now. He is fighting Max Holloway at the first UFC on Fox Sports 1 show.

Jon Jones calls himself ?skinny fat? before he prepares for UFC 165 bout

UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones is set to fight Alexander Gustafsson on September 21. As of today, he's 67 days from his fight, so he'll go into full-fledged camp mode soon. But before he trains, the 18-1 fighter admits that he is a bit lazy and puts on some weight before fights.

So the guy who looked like the above pic at his weigh-in on April 26 looked like this on Monday:

Jones has never had a problem losing weight for his fights in the past. Something tells me this time is no different.

Chris Weidman On Silva?s Antics ? ?I did react?

When UFC Middleweight Champion Chris Weidman walked out of the octagon with a shiny new belt, analysts and pundits around MMA spoke about how calm and collected he was while Anderson Silva was taunting him with his hands down. UFC 161?s Three Stars: James Krause, Shawn Jordan and Stipe Miocic?s night

UFC 161 wasn't the greatest of cards, but some fighters did stand out. Who stood out for you? Speak up on Facebook or Twitter.

No. 1 star -- James Krause: In 2009, Krause had two fights in the WEC. He lost to Donald Cerrone and Ricardo Lamas and missed his chance to get into the UFC when it merged with the WEC. Krause kept training and kept fighting, putting together a seven-fight win streak in promotions like Resurrection Fighting Alliance and Shark Fights.

He was ready when the UFC called and asked him to fill in at the last minute for a tough match-up with Sam Stout. He not only had an entertaining fight with Stout, he finished him with a guillotine with 13 seconds left in the fight. He won both a Fight of the Night bonus and a Submission of the Night bonus, totaling $100,000.* After years of training and fighting in smaller promotions, that money is an excellent reward for keeping the faith.

No. 2 star -- Shawn Jordan: Perhaps it's just that Shawn Jordan is a really busy guy. He has many items on his to-do list, and he doesn't have time to waste on knocking out a fighter. He quickly finished Pat Barry, earning the TKO in 59 seconds. Next item on the to-do list? Heading to the bank to cash his $50,000 Knockout of the Night bonus.*

No. 3 star -- Stipe Miocic: Does it actually take throwing a kitchen sink at Roy Nelson's head to knock him out? Because Miocic's strikes were just short of kitchen-sink-level, and Nelson remained standing. That Miocic was able to put such a beating on Nelson showed that he is back to being the striking stud he was before being knocked out by Stefan Struve.

*UFC bonuses are paid out after fighters have passed their post-fight drug tests.

?King Mo? wins while ?Babalu? retires at Bellator

One fighter got back on the winning track while another decided to end his career at Bellator's summer debut on Wednesday night.

Muhammed "King Mo" Lawal was knocked out in his last Bellator fight, which was a surprising result for the onetime Strikeforce champ. Wednesday's fight with Seth Petruzelli was his first fight since then, and he came back with a memorable knockout.

Lawal wrestled Petruzelli to the ground, then finished the fight at 1:35 in the first round with a huge right hook. He needed just one punch to knock Petruzelli out. Lawal will move on in Bellator's light heavyweight tournament to fight Jacob Noe.

"It's kind of highly emotional for me to talk about this right now, but I think maybe I've been in the cage more than everybody in this room here," he said. "I lived the life. That's what I want to say. I have no regrets. I was happy to help this sport grow."

Noe earned his spot in the semifinals with a win over Strikeforce and UFC veteran Renato "Babalu" Sobral. "Babalu" lost in a third-round, standing TKO, then announced his retirement from MMA.

Sobral finished his career with a record of 37-11. He started fighting in 1997, and fought in Brazilians promotions and Rings before fighting at UFC 28. Sobral fought such fighters as Fedor Emelianenko and Chuck Liddell.

One of the more memorable moments of Sobral's career was at UFC 74 when submitted David Heath with an anaconda choke, but wouldn't break the hold when first instructed by the ref. He was later cut from the UFC and fined by the Nevada State Athletic Commission for his wrongdoing.

Sobral then went to Strikeforce and won the light heavyweight championship before losing it to Gegard Mousasi. He also fought in One FC, and then Bellator before he hung up his MMA gloves.

Is Tito Ortiz considering a comeback?

UFC Hall of Famer Tito Ortiz has been working as an MMA manager, most notably representing former Strikeforce champion Cristiane "Cyborg" Santos. Lately, he has been making noise about wanting to make a comeback on Twitter.

Viacom is the parent company of Bellator, so Ortiz could be pushing for a Bellator contract if the UFC doesn't want him back.

Ortiz hasn't strung two wins together since 2006. Since those two wins over Ken Shamrock, he went 1-7-1. Retiring was a smart option, because it allowed him to go out from the UFC in their Hall of Fame.

No one can make the decision to retire -- and stay retired -- for a fighter. But in all sports, you see athletes reconsider their retirement decision. What inevitably happens after retirement is that the nagging injuries that made them retire in the first place start to heal. They don't feel the aches and pains that come from twice-daily training. Their bodies start to feel better, and they think, "Maybe I can still do this."

Only Ortiz can say if he feels good enough to fight, but only the promotions can say if they're buying.

No title shot as Anthony Pettis out for six weeks with knee injury

When Anthony Pettis had to pull out of his bout with Jose Aldo at UFC 163 because of an injury, he lobbied to get a fight with Benson Henderson. The lightweight champ is facing T.J. Grant at UFC 164 at the end of August in Milwaukee, which is Pettis' hometown.

"I'm not going to say I should be fighting and T.J. Grant didn't earn his shot," Pettis said on the MMA Hour. "T.J. Grant earned his shot, and he's there for a reason. I don't want the fans to think I'm trying to take his position or anything like that, but at the same time, you can't knock me for trying. I want a title shot so bad."

But MMA Fighting and ESPN report that Pettis won't be fighting that quickly as he learned Wednesday that his torn meniscus requires he sits out for six weeks. On the bright side, Pettis doesn't have to get surgery. He just has to rest the leg, which isn't easy for fighters trying to title shots.

When Pettis had to pull out of his bout with Aldo, Chan Sung Jung stepped in. He was scheduled for face Ricardo Lamas at UFC 162, but now "The Korean Zombie" is getting a title shot. Lamas was taken off of UFC 162, and the bout between Mark Munoz and Tim Boetsch was put on the main card.

This doesn't mean Pettis won't get a title shot in the future, but it's also not the first time he's been close to a title shot and lost it. After emerging from the WEC as its final lightweight champion, he was supposed to get a shot at the UFC lightweight champ, then Frankie Edgar.

However, a draw between Gray Maynard and Frankie Edgar pushed Pettis' title shot to the backburner as they fought a rematch. In the meantime, Pettis fought and lost to Clay Guida, pushing him farther back in the title picture. He pushed for the featherweight shot after beating Donald Cerrone, and was so close to fighting Aldo for the belt when the injury struck.
